"Did they go around the neighbourhood looking for the rabbits owner in an attempt to return it?"
"What was Malicious even thinking? Bringing a rabbit to tennis session??"

but let me see...
i guess what happened was:
You brought the rabbit to class (cos you really had no choice)and tried to keep it in the box. but knowing how bouncy rabbits can be, it managed to hop out and escape. But since it's in the tennis court with fence (most likely), it coulnd't really get away. So two things la
1. It somehow got clean away via gap in fence or wriggling under or in the drains.
2. It ran around panicking, and you accidentally hit it with one of ur wayward tennis balls (bet there're lots of those) and it passes out. when it wakes up, it remembers that you hit it, and runs far far away from you =P
There you go. Tho, it's probable that what actually happened was, nothing happened and the owners came and retrieved him.
