Intruder! Quick, get it!!

Let me tell you one of my favourite stories of all time. This happened approximately 4 years ago, when I was still staying in Bandar Utama and I have just recently finished Form 6 as of then. The neighbourhood was a quiet place, with minimal number of kids runing around, unlike the days of old, where we would just cycle out to the village nearby and buy stuffs to eat and play.

So like, I said, I was still staying in Bandar Utama, and I was coming home from training at KDU on a Thursday night. As I got home, my sister rushed to me and in a very excited manner, exclaimed about how a rabbit had intruded our home, right in front of the doorsteps only to hurry away when they approached it. There she went on, chattering away on how the rabbit came in and how cute it was, that I missed all the action and all the fun.............not!!

Lo behold, we were watching TV when I looked behind at the door, and there it was!!

"Look, the rabbit has returned!!", said I.

"Where?? Oh, so cute!!"said Linx.

"Ahhhh! Don't let it get near me!! Shoo shoo, go away!", said my mom.

".................", said my dad.

Anyway, it was a very tame rabbit, highly likely escaped from another household.

To be continued..............

War of the Titans

*CLASH*!
*CLANK*!
*ROAR* followed by a *SLASH*
*GRUNT* and a *DODGE*

That seems to be how war sounded like, if you imagined it in the movies. However, I was engaged in a different kind of war 2 nights ago. Ok, let's tone down a bit, for it ain't exactly war but a struggle for peace. Peace for my sister sleeping in her room, peace for my parents free from accidentally stepping on "it", peace for me for not having to "struggle" with "it" everytime it shows up. However, I never achieved my ultimate goal, and I have no idea where "it" went. What was "it"? Remember a certain post I contributed a month back about snails invading the pool, and tadpoles in the water lily pot?

IT!!

Well, there were 2 "it"s, the 1st one being in the toilet shared by my sister and I. This one was relatively easy to tackle. It perched on the toilet window grill, and all I had to do was poke at its hind legs to make it jump out of the window, but not without me having to slowly push the window open (triggering the house security alarm in the process). "It" was small.

So I went on doing what I was doing, and I wanted to continue doing whatever I was doing, but my sister stopped my from doing what it was that I have been doing, and asked me to help her in doing something else, which proved difficult doing!

A huge and heavy frog stuck on her wardrobe stared at me ominously when I peered over the edge of the closet. Argh, it looked slimy and wet somehow, and I wondered if it was able to secrete anymore disgusting fluids. Si, I grabbed a newspaper, *seniore, it jumped around the room and finally landed on my room door*. I continued chasing after it, poking its hinds to make it jump to the direction I intended it for. It leapt into the storeroom, and I thought it was sufficient for the night (the alarm was on, it was late and dark outside, I had no other reason to pursue my struggle with it as I was tired). I went into my room, but still worried about it, I peered out of my room door through the little opening...and there it was... peeking at me from on top of the K-room window...

How friendly! (quote Yuen when I told her about the frog spending the night in the vicinity).
